At 4:51 a.m. on Tuesday, the National Weather Service issued an updated weather notice for Southern Erie and Crawford County, predicting snow showers through 6 a.m.

“At 4:51 a.m., radar indicated snow showers along a line extending from near Clymer to 7 miles southwest of Albion to near Geneva-On-The-Lake, moving south at 20 mph,” according to the meteorological service.

The alert affects the following locations: Pymatuning Central, Riceville, Harmonsburg, Lincolnville, Guys Mills, Pymatuning North, Atlantic, Austinburg, Hartsgrove, Orwell, Andover, Linesville, Adamsville, Canadohta Lake, Meadville, Corry, Geneva, Titusville, Union City, Cambridge Springs, and Guys Mills. If you have to travel, exercise extreme caution. Accidents may result from sloppy roadways and abrupt changes in visibility.
