At 3:37 a.m. on Monday, the National Weather Service issued an updated wind advisory for Northern Erie and Southern Erie that was in effect from 10 a.m. to Tuesday at 6 a.m.
According to the meteorological service, “Southwest winds up to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected.”
“Unsecured objects will be buffeted by gusty gusts. According to the weather service, there may be a few power outages and tree branches that are blown down. Strong winds like these can make driving challenging, particularly for well-known cars. Be especially careful.
