The Eagles make their Super Bowl comeback.
When it counted most, the Eagles offense exploded against the Washington Commanders, an old NFC East opponent, thanks to a 60-yard touchdown run by Saquon Barkley. After a dismal 2024 season, the Philadelphia defense helped the Birds return to the Super Bowl by forcing two turnovers and making clutch saves in the second half. Jalen Hurts led the offense with skill and efficiency, completing 20 of 28 passes for 246 yards and a touchdown, and adding three running touchdowns of his own. Barkley finished with 118 yards and three touchdown runs.
The winner of the AFC Championship Game between the Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night will play Philadelphia in Super Bowl 59. The Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana, will host the major game on Sunday, February 9.
