Josh Carney of Steelers Depot claims that the Pittsburgh Steelers are considering Missouri quarterback Brady Cook. According to Carney, Cook has been questioned twice by the Steelers between the East-West Shrine Bowl and the Hula Bowl.

Cook, who began three seasons with the Missouri club from 2022 to 2024, is a seasoned starter. During his collegiate career, he amassed over 9,000 throwing yards, 49 touchdowns, and only 15 interceptions.

Cook is a fifth-year senior who will start his NFL career as a 23-year-old rookie who turns 24. He is now anticipated to be a late day three pick, though, as a poor 2024 hurt his draft value.

Cook might be a player to keep an eye on if the Steelers were to gamble on a quarterback. However, if the Steelers intended to capitalize on physical upside, there are other players in the group—even at the Shrine Bowl—who have stronger physical tools.
