The Eagles’ iconic guitarist Steuart Smith announced his departure from the group this week.

It is terrible to learn the cause behind his departure.

He added in a statement, “I find myself having to step down from my role with the Eagles while I can still do so gracefully due to performance issues associated with my recently diagnosed Parkinsonism.”I had hoped to play with the band one last time this year, but I have to do what’s best for everyone. It’s been a tremendous quarter of a century.

Parkinsonism, according to the Parkinson’s Foundation, is a group of movement symptoms connected to a number of illnesses, including Parkinson’s disease.

Parade claims that Smith has been a member of the Eagles since 2001.

The band will always be appreciative of the great talents he contributed to our records and live performances, Eagles leader Don Henley remarked.

Smith will be sorely missed, Henley continued.

However, he continued, “he will always be a part of our musical family.” We are aware that many of our admirers are sending him well wishes as well.
