Two people are being sought by Pennsylvania Game Commission officials for allegedly harassing and running down a red fox earlier this week while it was snowmobiling in Lebanon County.

The incident happened in Heidelberg Township on the afternoon of January 20 in a field close to the intersection of State Route 501 and Locust Street.

According to the game commission, the two snowmobilers ran the wild fox over many times during their more than 30-minute pursuit of it across the area.One of the snowmobilers is seen frightening the fox in a video that was uploaded on Facebook.

The two people are wanted for unlawfully harassing and attempting to take the fox, according to the wildlife commission.

One of the people was riding a black snowmobile with yellow skis and was dressed in black leggings, a black and gray jacket, and a silver metallic helmet. The second person was riding a black and white snowmobile while sporting a black jacket, a black helmet, and fluorescent orange leggings.
