Girls basketball teams throughout the district are aiming for postseason bids as the regular season is more than halfway over. The current District 3 power ratings, which are used to determine qualifiers and seeds based on games played on January 21, are examined in more detail below.
District 3 assigns power ratings. A team’s power rating will only be determined by its games versus PIAA opponents through February 12. 16 teams in 6A, 14 in 5A, 10 in 4A, 6 in 3A, 4 in 2A, and 10 in 1A will be qualified by the district.
