The city of Philadelphia The Philadelphia Flyers defeated the Detroit Red Wings 2-1 on Tuesday night thanks to a goal from Rasmus Ristolainen in overtime.

At 4:34 in overtime, Ristolainen poked a loose puck narrowly over the goal line. Ristolainen had an easy tap-in after Detroit defenseman Moritz Seider attempted to remove the puck from in front of the goal but instead pinned it against the post.

Samuel Ersson recorded 27 saves and Joel Farabee scored for the Flyers.

The Red Wings, who have dropped their previous five games and their third in a row, were led by Ben Chiarot.
