The National Weather Service issued a heavy snow forecast for Carbon, Monroe, Berks, Lehigh, Northampton, Western Chester, Eastern Chester, Western Montgomery, and Upper Bucks counties until 8 p.m. on Sunday at 5:23 p.m.

“Heavy snow bands are sweeping throughout the area, particularly to the northwest of the Interstate 95 corridor. It is anticipated that this heavy snowfall will last until early this evening before gradually beginning to lessen in the late hours of the evening. Visibilities as low as a quarter mile, snow rates of about two inches per hour, and extremely dangerous driving conditions are all present in these bands. Consider postponing any journey if you are in these areas. The weather service advises anyone who must travel to use caution, give themselves more time to get to their destination, slow down, and increase their following distance from the car in front of them.

United Robots offers a service called Advance Local Weather Alerts that gathers the most recent information from the National Weather Service using machine learning.
