According to fire officials, a hog barn caught fire in Franklin County early on Wednesday morning.

Around 7 a.m., the Franklin Fire Co. shared a picture of the barn at 20499 Hammond Road in Fannett Township on Facebook, showing a lot of smoke and flames.

Franklin County dispatch said that firefighters were initially dispatched to the location shortly before 6:30 a.m.

Whether any humans or animals were hurt is unknown.
