With 3:09 remaining in the second period, Sillinger scored a power-play goal to make it 2-0. With 10.5 seconds remaining, Colton Parayko scored to break Greaves’ shutout.
Dmitri Voronkov has nine goals and six assists in the last ten games for the Blue Jackets, while Kirill Marchenko has 18 goals and 29 assists. Zach Werenski is the team’s top scorer with 48 points and 35 assists.
Elvis Merzlikins, who has started 28 games and finished 15-10-0-3, has been the main goalie thus far. 3.12 is his goals-against average.
Despite being 4-5-1 in their last ten games, the Flyers (19-20-5, in the Metropolitan Division) defeated the Florida Panthers 4-3 at home on Monday night.
For the first time this season, Philadelphia had several power-play goals in a row, led by two goals from Noah Cates and goals from Garnet Hathaway and Morgan Frost. The Flyers won their second consecutive game with 20 saves from Sam Ersson.
Twice during the game, Philadelphia overcame a deficit.
In his last 15 games, Cates, who centers the Flyers’ third line, has scored eight goals and provided six assists.
In terms of goals (20), assists (30), and points (50), Travis Konecny leads the Flyers.
