Pittsburgh –According to Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin, Justin Fields is unquestionably a serious contender to start at quarterback for the team in 2025. Tomlin stated that Fields has a real chance to be the solution, even though he acknowledged the Steelers will have a procedure to examine the quarterback issue and their potential possibilities.

Tomlin remarked, “I believe he took the right steps.” I found his handling of his job situation to be quite impressive. Regardless of his position, I believed he brought a sense of urgency to his daily work. I believed that as he progressed through our system, he improved steadily. I believed that was a valid notion to organize (of the quarterback room in 2025) based on his behavior.

Tomlin has praised Fields numerous times this season, so that is a huge endorsement. Naturally, Fields was benched for Russell Wilson in Week 6 and was never started by the Steelers, so the words may not be as clear as the deeds.

In any case, Fields seems like the solution to the Steelers’ quarterbacking plans. Fields alone checks off a lot of boxes in terms of age, cost, and skill set worth. Fields might therefore be the solution to Pittsburgh’s quarterback dilemma, but the Steelers are still unsure of their next course of action.
