UPDATE: Linebacker Nakobe Dean has been officially ruled out due to a knee injury, while Eagles cornerback Darius Slay has recovered from an elbow ailment.

The cornerbackDue to an elbow injury, Darius Slayis is unlikely to return and has entered the dressing room. His left arm was dragging as he entered the building with the Eagles’ medical trainers. While attempting to tackle Packers running back Josh Jacobs on first down, he may have sustained the injury.

Eagles linebacker Nakobe Deans had to be helped off the field after suffering a knee injury later in that drive. He was then carried to the changing area.

After replacing Slay, Eagles reserve cornerback Isaiah Rodgers was soon singled out by Packers quarterback Jordan Love. At linebacker, veteran backup Oren Burks has replaced Dean.

This season, Rodgers has started three games and had four pass breakups and 26 tackles. Burks recorded 17 tackles in a victory over the New York Giants last week.

If Slay and Dean are unable to return, the Eagles need both players to step up.
