In Saturday night’s 28-14 NFL wild card playoff victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers, running back Derrick Henry did more than just hammer the defense.

He criticized the Ravens’ record book as well.

Henry set a new Ravens postseason record for single-game rushing in his first season in Baltimore with 186 yards and two touchdowns. On January 10, 2010, in a wild-card game at New England, he surpassed Ray Rice’s 159 yards.

For the third time in five seasons and the second consecutive year, No. 3 seed Baltimore made it to the divisional playoff round. Baltimore will visit Buffalo the following weekend if the Buffalo Bills defeat the Denver Broncos on Sunday. The Ravens will host the Houston Texans if the Bills lose at home.

In addition, Henry broke his personal Ravens record for rushing yards versus the Steelers, which he had set on December 21, 2024, in Week 16 when he ran for 167 yards in a 34-17 victory.

With 299 yards in the first round, the NFL’s top rushing offense played up to expectations. Additionally, quarterback Lamar Jackson rushed for 81 yards.

According to ESPN Research, Henry, 31, is the third-oldest player in NFL history to gain 150 rushing yards in a postseason game.

It was the first time since 2019 that Baltimore defeated Pittsburgh in back-to-back games.
