The Perry County teams regularly compete in the Juniata Pooled Duals, which are hosted at Juniata High School.

There were five additional teams present, including East Penn, Juniata, Lewisburg, Montgomery, and Susquehanna Township, in addition to Susquenita and Newport.

At 9 AM, Susquenita took on Lewisburg in the first of nine matches of the day. Five pins and a major decision were among the Blackhawks’ six victories at the end of the match.

Susquenita won 42–34 thanks to the efforts of Cole Robinson, Jaydyn Spencer, Bryce Hefenfinger, Landon Dangle, Ryland Rudy, and Braden Law.

The Blackhawks and Juniata squared off in a competitive game in the second round.

Susquenita should have had an advantage because Juniata lost three games.

The dual began at 121, the Blackhawks’ first forfeit, with no match at 114.

After that, Susquenita lost the following four games, which put them in a difficult-to-get-out hole.

The Blackhawks tried their hardest to rally after falling behind 20–6.

Susquenita reached double digits after Ryland Rudy defeated Coy Kerstetter by a big decision of 14-5.

Antwan Huffman and Tucker Bankes both won by forfeit to complete the 38-27 loss after Tristen Thomas worked for a 17-0 tech fall at 172.

Although Newport was absent for the first three rounds of the day, Susquenita and Newport were scheduled to wrestle in the third round.

After starting the game against Montgomery in round four, the Buffaloes suffered a crushing 53-15 defeat. The only winners of that round were Roman Polcha, Kaj Miller, and Justin Still.

After that, Newport fought Lewisburg and fared better.

Following a pin in the first weight class, the Buffaloes began to lose. In 23 seconds, Lane Wright replied with a pin of his own, and 27 seconds later, Braxton Kerr did the same.

Lewisburg rallied, winning the following three games to take a 23–12 lead.

After that, Still won a close 7–5 victory over Ahmaad Robinson. Miller’s 39-second pin earned further points.

A 21–4 tech fall by Marek Polcha moved Newport closer to the lead, but another victory by Lewisburg would make it even farther distant.

R. Polcha and rookie Chris Imler were left to decide the outcome of the game.

After 3:42, R. Polcha scored with a pin to tie the score at 32-34.
