This spring, the legendary Beach Boys will play two gigs in central Pennsylvania.

On Saturday, May 31, they will play at the American Music Theatre in Lancaster from 2 to 7:30 p.m. On Friday, January 10, tickets will go on sale for between $59 and $119.

Additionally, they will play at the State Theatre Center for the Arts in Easton on Sunday, June 1 at 3 p.m.

With more than 100 million records sold worldwide, the Beach Boys are among the most well-known and lucrative bands of all time.

The group has more than 80 songs on the charts worldwide since the 1960s, 36 of which are in the US Top 40 (the most of any US rock band), and four of which are at the top of the Billboard Hot 100. They have an impact on musicians from a variety of musical movements and genres. Pet Sounds has served as a source of inspiration for countless musicians who have written their own musical masterpieces. According to a press release, Rolling Stone named The Beach Boys No. 12 on its list of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time and Pet Sounds No. 2 on its list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.

The Beach Boys received the Recording Academy’s Grammy Award for Lifetime Achievement and were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1988.

The Beach Boys’ legacy is carried on by lead vocalist and principal lyricist Mike Love, longstanding member Bruce Johnston, Christian Love, Tim Bonhomme, Jon Bolton, Keith Hubacher, Randy Leago, and John Wedemeyer, in addition to musical director Brian Eichenberger.
