Last week, former Pittsburgh Steelers defensive lineman Armon Watts sustained a severe injury that ended his season. Five days after the injury, which resulted in Watts being carted off the field after spending a considerable amount of time there, the New York Giants placed him on season-ending injured reserve.
Watts was placed on injured reserve after missing a considerable amount of time due to a shoulder injury before making a comeback. Watts will now have to miss a large portion of his offseason due to this injury.

Watts stayed with the Steelers for the entire 2023 season, but they let him go at the end of the season in favor of signing Montravius Adams to a two-year contract. To complete the rotation, they also added defensive lineman Dean Lowry.
This season, Watts has only appeared in five games and has recorded three total tackles.
