Bellefonte, Pleasant Gap, Lemont, Boalsburg, Zion, Houserville, Milroy, Penfield, Centre Hall, Milesburg, McClure, Millheim, Karthaus, Snow Shoe, Clarence, Moshannon, Spring Mills, Force, Coburn, and Pine Glen are among the places affected by the alert. This includes Interstate 80 between the Dubois Route 255 and Lamar exits, as well as between mile markers 106 and 164. In particular, between the Snow Shoe and Kylertown exits, there is a chance of 1-2 inches of rain over the next hour. This also applies to Interstate 99 between mile markers 75 and 85.
“In winter weather conditions, conditions can rapidly deteriorate,” the weather service continues. Be ready for roads covered with ice or snow. To get to your destination, slow down and give yourself more time.
