Pittsburgh –There are significant doubts about the Pittsburgh Steelers’ wide receiver position. Additionally, there were suspicions after Diontae Johnson, an old friend, was cut by the Baltimore Ravens. On Monday at 4 p.m., he will learn whether he was claimed on waivers, but might the Steelers be one of the teams to submit the claim?
When questioned about it on Sunday, head coach Mike Tomlin stated that he would not comment on any player who is not on the football team at the moment.
“I have nothing more to say about someone who isn’t currently on our football team,” Tomlin remarked.
Following Rashod Bateman’s injury, Johnson declined to play in the Ravens’ game against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Ravens’ refusal to offer him a significant number of snaps in a contract year apparently infuriated him.
Johnson has been dissatisfied with his utilization on the team ever since he was traded to the Carolina Panthers. Johnson’s annoyances have now reached a boiling point, and it appears that the NFL has a bad reputation for him.
