Fans of pop queen Cher will be happy to hear that she will soon release a new album.
The 78-year-old singer says this is probably the last album she will release, which is also awful news. According to reports, she revealed the information in an interview for her book, Cher: The Memoir, Part One.
In reference to the forthcoming project, she stated, “This is probably my last album that I’m going to do.” I’m ecstatic. They’re fantastic tunes, and I’m thrilled to be performing them.
According to Billboard, it will be her 28th album and the first one with brand-new tracks since 2013’s Closer to the Truth.
She remarked, “I’m so happy to be doing anything now.” Okay, I’m older than dirt now. Unless I’m in an assisted living facility, I’m the oldest person I encounter in practically every room.
Cher began performing in 1963, and in 1965, she put out her debut album, All I Really Want to Do.
In October, she received her induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
