Although this year isn’t quite over, The Vineyard and Brewery at Hershey (VAH) in Londonderry Township, Dauphin County, has already set up a large portion of its 2025 calendar.

Due to the nature of some of the entertainment they bring in, scheduling, and other challenges, Lynn Day, the director of operations and a nine-year veteran of VAH, stated that preparation begins as early as August.

“Trying to get our big concerts planned early really makes a huge difference, just in the grand scheme of things,” she told PennLive on Wednesday.

There are already some of those compositions set for VAH’s summer concert series. On Saturday, June 14, O.A.R. frontman Marc Roberge will make a comeback, and two weeks later on June 28, the Badlees, a 1990-formed roots rock band from Pennsylvania, will play. Pop Tour 2000 is not set, but it is on the priority list. Day stated that she will start organizing and deciding on a date after the holidays are over.

“They will return,” Day stated. They requested to return because they were so delighted with their 2023 visit.

As early as February, tickets for these might be available for purchase.

According to Day, she began scheduling those bands in August with the goal of having the program finalized by Black Friday, as part of the Decked-Out Live! entertainment that The Vineyard and Brewery at Hershey has provided for years. The winery offered a season pass to anyone who donated a toy in order to generate interest in a Toys for Tots fundraiser. The weekly 21 and over concert series for the following year will begin on May 2 and end on September 26. The list of performers is available at this website.

The director of operations and her staff are busy with more than simply performances, though. A lot has changed since then, and most definitely during the period that Day has been in this role, in terms of providing guests with more than just their selection of drinks.

She said that we’re constantly changing and that everything is very different now than it was when I joined the organization. Something fresh comes up every time. Having fun and enjoying the event are our top priorities. We want visitors to visit and take in the beauty of our farm.

A murder investigation, a glow party, a Galentine’s Day boozy brunch, country line dancing, a wine blending workshop, and a Cupid’s Ball are all new for the first quarter of 2025. For Q1, we have a ton of new products planned. It will make it possible for folks to go out and enjoy themselves at a very minimal cost. To be honest, we’re constantly concerned about the costs to our customers because we want them to be able to continue going out and having a good time.”

The portfolio of one of the most well-known producers in central Pennsylvania has likewise changed.Naturally, wine has been the mainstay, but the Vineyard at Hershey also expanded its inventory by adding a brewery a few years after it debuted and is still adding new products.

According to her, we produce wine slushies, cider, seltzer, and, of course, artisan cocktails for the summer. Of course, we’ve also expanded that. We were always experimenting with flavors after the seltzer boom, which was really well-liked by our clients.
