Searching in all the wrong places for love?

So why not try somewhere appropriate, like this city in Pennsylvania, for example?

There are no steely hearts in Pittsburgh, the Steel City, which is reportedly the fourth-best city in the US for singles, according to a study done and published by WalletHub.

Unfortunately, Philadelphia—the only other Pennsylvanian city mentioned in the report—ranked 89th out of 182 cities, making it appear to be among the worst places for single people to try dating.

Prior to Pittsburgh, the top three cities for singles were Atlanta, Georgia; Las Vegas, Nevada; and Seattle, Washington, which came in third, second, and first, respectively.

After WalletHub analysts evaluated 182 locations on three important criteria—economic, fun and recreation, and dating opportunities—as well as pertinent indicators like average price for two-person meals and social clubs per capita, these rankings were established.

Nevertheless, Pearl City, Hawaii, was the city with the lowest overall scores, so single men and women might want to avoid it.

According to Chip Lupo, an analyst at WalletHub, locations that lack the prerequisites for successful dating can make the already challenging process of finding the right mate even more difficult. Large, gender-balanced single populations and a diverse range of indoor and outdoor, daytime and evening activities are characteristics of the greatest cities for single people.

In order to lessen the impact of inflation, they also offer affordable dating services or high average salaries.
